Dora the Explorer has been a TV hit for
several years now. The premise is a good one: solve mysteries
and learn some Spanish vocabulary at the same time.
Mattel has come out with a Dora doll that plugs into a computer via USB giving young girls an opportunity to enter Dora's online world and help her solve mysteries with her friends. The fun comes when you can change Dora's appearance online by creating different hair styles, changing her clothes, her jewelry and so much more. As you make changes to the doll on the computer the physical doll will begin to change as well. New mysteries are added through Doralinks.com and the doll will automatically alert you when there is a new adventure to follow. There is no charge for these downloads. Dora has a group of friends, the Explorer Girls, in her town of Puerto Verde and your child can jump right in and become part of the fun and games with them.
